How Time Flies

Amazing. It is just one year since I last posted on my blog. If you had asked me 'how long ...?' I would never have dreamed 12 months have passed. The old saying 'time flies when you are having fun' does not really apply. My excuse is that I have been very busy, and yes writing has played a big part.

It has been a very busy year, writing, starting an ebay business, building my own website and caring for elderly parents. Despite various calls on my time I have ended my year with 10 articles published and a commission for 4 more. I am now in the swing of writing most mornings and I feel a tangible improvement in my ability. The old adage write every day really does pay, in my case for the 10 articles to date. Having a commission for articles was the boost I needed to sit down each day and write, one thing led to another. I have now completed several children's picture books and a story for 4 to 6 year olds plus, most important - sent them out for consideration. Do watch this space and find out how I get on.
